The installation took some time as we decided to move the Distance Measuring Equipment which was mounted behind the original factory bulkhead. This required making an new bracket and cutting two holes in your panel for the cables. It took a while but came out looking good. (See picture of extended baggage) Since we both know that your baggage extension will be really good for holding sleeping bags we were pretty pleased. I advertised my old hat shelf in the cessna owners magazine and have had several people call asking where to get the baggage extension, so no movement at all selling my old hat shelf (with tongue in cheek, i gave them your name). Then a fellow called today and wants to buy my hat shelf. He is going to use it to replace a missing hat shelf/rear cover bulkhead or as he put it, the ultimate baggage extension. Glenn Reynolds |
